Alice Ivers is the deuteragonist of Survivalist and a survivor who lived in the Sonaran Desert along with her sister, Rosetta Ivers. Eventually, however, F.E.M.A. abducted her and began to experiment on her. Known as 'Patient X,' Alice's pancreas became unable to produce its own insulin, leaving Alice stricken with Type One Diabetes. However, she managed to escape, and was reunited with her sister, albeit briefly. Rosetta went to collect water from a nearby tower in Dejado, and she never returned. Thankfully, Joe Wheeler heard about a distress call, and put down Alice's sister, now infected with Red Strain. He and Alice joined up together and set up a base at Joe's bunker, her need for insulin constantly needing to be quenched.

Outcome 1: Dead[]
The Survivalists are unable to supply Alice with a sustainable supply of insulin for the duration of the game, and she dies a presumably slow and a painful death without the ability to produce insulin- which leads to muscle and fat breakdown and eventually death if untreated.
(P.S. If she dies after she gives you the Love ending "Complete the Game!" quest, you could still chose the Money and Power ending by asking community members "what's up?" and there will be a chance of triggering new dialog.)
Outcome 2: Unknown ( Presumably Alive )[]
The Survivalists are able to supply Alice with insulin for a short future, however the concern of the inevitable reality of the supply running dry is brought up in the side-missions with Joe, which in the last one Joe remembers that Wheeler Capital Management did some work on genetically engineering Safflower to produce insulin. If he could get access to the test sites in Vancouver, it would be possible to cultivate the plant and create a sustainable, renewable supply of insulin. Alice listens though she seems to be unwilling to go through it, not wanting to spend her marked time spent on desperately searching for this hope.
Some time later, the group runs into contact with F.E.M.A and Clara Allison, who reveals that a test subject 66F who freed the rest of the other subjects ( who were infected with the invisible strain, a much bigger danger than even the white strain due to how the infected pretends to be human but is taking cover to spread the infection further ) and fled with them. The subject is said to have a dysfunctional pancreas due to the tests, inflicting them with Type 1 Diabetes- The revelation turns out to be that Alice is the test subject 66F- a living infected because of the small dosage of the virus injected. Alice hears about the news spread and runs away from the desert, from presumably various reasons.
Whether she survives or not is unknown, and her next goal is unknown. Presumably however she ran to Vancouver, and in the canon route Joe and the Survivalists follow after her not long post-revelation.

Trivia[]
- Alice is the only diabetic character to appear in Survivalist.
- Alice might have a unique strain of the virus that keeps her from turning completely since she does not do so in normal gameplay, which could be presumed to be intentional. This is only a speculation and should be taken with a grain of salt.

Using the Brain Scanner on Alice reveals she has the invisible strain. The scanner will read SYSTEM ERROR: Data range was outside known limits! The same message will display when the scanner is used on Charlie Cashman and Lou Marchbanks, both of Fort Kohai. Unlike Lou and Cashman, Alice will not turn on the player during normal gameplay. |
